It was my first time back in NJ and in a Shop Rite since the 80's. And it was such a great visit. I had visited 2 other grocery stores, and Shop Rite beat them in cleanliness, aesthetics and beautifully organized produce/deli and bakery items, as well as the friendliness of the staff on entry, as I searched for specific items and upon checking out. This is my new go to-undisputedly.
I was at this location earlier today and I had a question about a digital coupon that required a QR code. Well, I had forgotten my phone in the car. So, I approached one of the cashiers to ask if I could leave my bag with them while I went back to my car for my phone. Instead of taking the bag, the young man asked if he could show me a way to use the digital coupon (my first time using one) without having to return to my car. Jonah, the young man in question, patiently walked me through the steps that would allow me to use the digital coupon without returning to my car. I appreciated his patience. He was a very nice and patient young man. Thank you, Jonah!
Always clean and staff very friendly Not much to say about this place. I've always had a great experience. Good deals and plenty of parking spots.
It's been a very long time since I posted my first review. I still give this Shoprite 5*****. Even though the supply chain shortages and other storm surges, this store keeps their shelves stocked. The only exception--as with every other store in the country--was during the height of COVID. The staff is always helpful, even during open times on holidays. This store is always clean and keep their shelves orderly. They recently renovated their produce area, ensuring the fruits/vegetables stay fresh. The self check out is properly maintained and the attendant is always there to assist.
Catering - ordered food, there was a problem, but Stefan fixed it. Food was wonderful! Everyone loved it
